Okay, so I bought a bottle of Mr. Surfacer 500. I want to use it to texture things that I want to look rusted and use it for casting texture. All of the text on the bottle is in Japanese! How do you use this stuff? Do you have to apply it to plastic? Can it be applied over paint? I thought it would have visible, grainy texture in it, but it doesn't seem to. Do you have to make your own texture with it, like stipple it? Is it oil or water based and how the heck do you clean it out of a paint brush? Thanks for your help!

Yes right on the Plastic... and Stipple it
Laquer thinner to clean the brush with.
