Hello
I believe there is a large book available with painting and weathering techniques. I think the author is spanish? It is around £40 is there a review of this book and is it available in the Uk. I think I saw it in amagazine somewhere?

Gavin,
I believe the book that you are asking about is FAQ by Mig Jimenez, who has produced some superb work and his company Mig productions are growing all of the time. I personally like the weathering pigments and many of the other offerings, which are varied and very useful, be it that you want to build a Toyota truck as a Technical used in many areas of the world, to a set of chemical drums.
I got the book for my Birthday from my wife and would say that it is a really good resource for a modeller, especially armour but I am sure that some techniques will translate across the hobby.
The place to get hold of one is from Amazon.co.uk and they were retailing it for about £28, I seem to remember a review on this site, look for books in the review section, I dont have time to look to assist you now as I am about to go out.
I hope this helps and yes this thick book is packed full of features that will assist you in our hobby.
John
