Hello all
The AFV Club M3A3 kit as far as I believed only produce Brit and Free french versions of the tank... What is the story with the box art depicting a tank with US ARMY serial markings?
:EDIT: Think I've found my answer... The USA markings may have been used by the Yugoslavs?

IIRC the boxart shows one of the Chinese marking options, frustratingly I can't find a photo of a Chinese M3A3 that shows the USA prefix to confirm.

Here's a low quality picture of a Chinese M3A3 that looks like the one represented on AFV Club's M3A3 kit box-art :
But it's hard to tell if the blue US markings are present or not

Blue drab US serial numbers on the hull sides, the picture Frenchy posted was the one I was looking at on Tanks!, trying to see if the serial started with 30 (the usual US prefix for tank serials)

According to the box art, the USA + serial # should be in blue just above and slightly left of the white serial # in the whitish area as seen in the pic...

The T prefix serial must be the British one, of course blue drab's low contrast with OD makes it notoriously difficult to pick up in photos.
