Well...I'm new here..and of course I got my questions ready..haha..
I've been making plastic scalemoddels for my whole life now (mostly aircraft) and since about a year I started making World War II Armor and figures.
When working on aircraft in my younger years, I used Humbrol paints and normal brushes. Just all the simple tools. By making WWII Armor and figures i'm absolutely thinking about spray painting it with an Airbrush (except the figures). But now comes my question...What is the best paint to use on for instance a tank when using an airbrush? I'm very serious with my models so I want to weather them, make them more realistic, etc. all the things that you guys do as well.
So is it ok to use Humbrol? or do i have to change to Tamiya paints for instance?
Thanx for at least looking at my question guys

Tamiya Acrylic to airbrush (lovely stuff), Humbrol to drybrush. Water based "oil" paint to weather. Kleer to seal. Works every time.

I use testor's Model Master paints mostly. But like Shep Paines says what ever works for you is best.

Hi John, haven't tried the Revell enamels for airbrushing... Maybe time I did. They seem to have a very large paint colour choice. Do you use the Revell thinners to thin and clean?

I like the model master acrylics. Revell and Humbrol paints are hard to get here in the USA (at least for me)
