As windex/windowlene seems to be a great product for cleaning airbrushes can any one tell me if the windowlene original which is now not blue coloured does the same job as the older blue coloured stuff. Have they just changed colour or is it totaly different. My supermarket does not stock blue windowlene only clear or pink, and i know not to use the pink stuff for anything other than cleaning windows.
Many thanls in advanve

I'm sure it would be the same. We have regular blue windex and a sort of orange colored version (fresher scent or something) and I've used that also. No variation in the way it cleans or thins acrylic paint. An no difference in the final color of the thinned, sprayed paint.(if you use it to thin your paint)

Providing that it had the amonia base, it will surely clean your airbrush. You can also buy straight out ammonia from the supermarket too.
