Does anyone on here have an 1/35 I.R. unit they don't need?? Or a Tamiya/DML I.R. Panther kit they would like to sell??
I have been looking for the nightfighting Panther kit but both are unavailable right now. I am sure sometime they will reissue them but I kinda want one right away.
If someone just has the I.R. unit, I would take that too.. Thanks for your help.

Another question is which type do you want? There are at least 2, one is the fictional DML w MG42 mount ( might be accurate for a Falke, but not a panther) or the actually fielded , but without an mg mount from the Tamiya kit.
The Tamiya parts came in the Steelwheels Panther kit, which is much more expensive but still widelyt available, and the DML Nightfighting Panther with the fictional 3-IR set is all over E-bay for less than US$20.

Drop me a pm if you need either set of parts.

Cromwell models makes a couple of things - one is called "Panther - Cupola & Mantlet Infra Red Equipment" and the other "8.8cm Panther triple infra-red equipment".I don't know what either of the sets contain, just found them at Great Models.

Mike, I would be looking for either one, but I did a pretty thorough search on ebay and didn't come up with anything.. Of course, EBAY is well known for the search not always finding what you want..lol..

huh.. you're right. go figure..
I'm so used to seeing many of them in the "panther' search in military in models.

Keep an eye open there, they come by pretty often. The Tamiya kits can occasionally be found for bargin prices, but you have to be patient.

Model Expo has pretty good prices on the Tamiya kit, and VLS (www.modelmecca.com) has a membership deal where (after you pay for the membership or get it as a gift..) you get 25% off and free shipping.

drop me a line if you need more info on IR panthers.
