Looks great to me Frank
Nice work on the PE , the split cowl and commanders cage site look fantastic
One thing that I was wondering though , is why did Bronco feel the need to include resin front wheels , their plastic moulding looks pretty good to start with ?

Reportedly, Bronco used a Comet on display in Hong Kong as reference, which was fitted with the postwar pattern idler wheel. Since the greatest interest would be for a wartime vehicle, they added the revised part in resin (as a start-up, they may not have the funds to retool the styrene molds).

Hi Prato,
The P.E. comes with the kit, you get the vane, the split exhaust and a couple of post war parts.

Thanks a lot Frank! I just bought the kit via internet - I'm waiting for it at any moment now - and I was just curious to know what I had to buy! Thanks once again!

Nice work Frank, any reason you didn't use the PE for the turret antennamount ?
Othervise your addition of handles etc. really lifts the allready high standards of this kit.

Thanks for the comments, as far as why I did not use the PE antenna mount supplied in the kit...... It's a great looking piece of PE but one that I'm hesitant to use.... I'm not very comfortable using PE at the best of times, and any part that needs curving just adds to my stress,..... you should of heard the stream of vulgarities coming out of me, trying to shape the split normandy cowling!

Frank,
Good looking build so far! After spending about 10 hours climbing inside and out of a restored Comet , it appears to me that Bronco has captured the look of the Comet very well in plastic. Detail wise it looks quite nice.

If accepted Chris, I have just submitted a review of your very impressive photo walkround and would suggest that if you have the Bronco Comet it is well worth the small sum to show the real tank in the flesh.

Hi John,
I look forward to seeing your review. I haven't bought the kit yet as none of my LHS's have it. After seeing Frank's build up of the kit, I hope to get one real soon.
