Is there any product available out there that could be used as the hexagonal mesh material (chicken wire) used to hold foliage in place around the vertical sided of the turret and the hull on British tanks.

I've recently bought a mosquito screen that has an hexagonal pattern. I also have found some wedding tulle that would fit the bill as well...

Hi Frank,
There's a thing called a "spatter guard" or "splash guard". Its a round hoop covered in metal mesh and used to cover a frying pan to stop hot oil splashes. It's very common and the mesh is perfect for Brit vehicles.

While Aber and Eduard do offer generic brass photoetch mesh, for this purpose, hexagonal wedding veil material (tulle) is the almost certainly the best product. Available at any fabric store, and a dollar or so will buy enough for a lifetime.
