Well you all have inspired me to get started on mine. I was thinking about doing them 82nd Airborne. The Army borrowed a few platoons worth during ODS. Figured it would be different.

Heya, Folks,

While we are on the subject?

Would any of the LAV-25s serving in OIF have the smooth 25mm barrell..? Possibly early in the conflict...? I ask only because I used the Barell Depot smoothie and have no plans to switch it out even though I want to depict a USMC OIF LAV...

And while I am asking...would the .30 coax barrel stick out of the opening next to the main gun at all...?

Thanks!

Aloha,

Johnny B.

Nice work Dave - and I agree about the model. I really like mine, and am also building it circa USMC ODS. I'm wounded at the moment, but as soon as I can, I'm jumping back into it.

It is such a good model, and inexpensive, a LAV-25 Campaign would have been a natural...

Gerald, whose barrel are you going to use? I'm modelling one from the early 90's as well.

Model Point 25mm barrel for the Bradley. The collar for the Bradley mantlet is a seaprate part, and the gun slides right out. The machined brass muzzle brake is just gorgeous.
