Well here is my latest project almost finished. I still have to make and install the on board stowage. Any comments or suggestions are always invited.

I've noticed a few things that could be adjusted. The travel lock for the gun tube (on the back engine deck) is normally pointed rearward. I think you have yours pointing forward towards the turret.

Secondly, your left hand smoke grenade launcher appears to be mounted askew. The top row of holes should be parallel to the ground.

Third, the support rollers for the M48/60/88 series vehicles are rubber rimmed.

Lastly, it appears to be a Marine Corps version. You should remove the ERA and paint it in Army colors.

Besides the few mistakes, I think it looks good. I like the graham cracker-looking armor plates :-)

We tossed our dufle bags and 5 gal water cans in the bustle rack. Left the tank tarp back at home station except when we went to Graf. Sometimes we would store extra machine gun ammo boxes, but that was rare. Never stored oil 'case the crap would leak onto our duffle bags and ruin our cloths. Important stuff like C's and pogie bait was always inside. I used my spare ammo holders to put our goodies in.

Don't forget some camo netting sitting on the top part of the bustle rack/back of top turret. We left it there so it could be unrolled quicker, this way we could get started in snagging on antenna mounts, ERA bolts etc that much quicker. lol Another thing we had draped on all of our tanks in the field was canvas water bags. hung them off the smoke grenade boxes or anywhere else we had some free space.

The M60 series didn't have the laser refractive coating found on more modern armor like the Abrams and later Bradleys. I'd go with just dark gloss blue or black.
