Hello Blind man
It really depends where you are talking about? Most of the South is very hilly with out many trees, kind of grass covered with sparce trees, then there are the valleys which are also pretty much devoid of trees and flat and grassy or rice paddies. If you go North areoun Chunchoen then it is steep and has alot of trees. It really depends where your Dio is going to be set?

Blind_man,
Having been there('95-'96) I can tell you one thing--there aren't a whole lot of huge trees. It's very green( very humid there and rains a lot in the late summer)and cold as a witches......in the winter. But like beach said it depends a lot on the area of the pennisula you are going to do. Wish I could find my pictures ot post, but I think they are long gone. Hope that helps a little.

Here is a wealth of information from the U.S. Army Center for Military History: http://www.army.mil/cmh-pg/reference/Korea/kw-remem.htm
Scroll down to the Art and Images links and enjoy. I especially like the "Engineers in Korea" set of photos -- lots of dio ideas in there!
