Greetings all,

I was just wondering if it would be easy or practical to have a facility that allowed the originator of a post to edit the Post Title?

Reasoning is as follows:

One sometimes we just make mistakes in either choosing or typing in the Title of the Post.

Two, sometimes when a post is running the content changes or has new and additional things that the original post title might not represent.

Don't know what you thoughts on this might be or if it would be an easy addition???

Apologies if this has appeared before or if in fact it can already be done???

It's something I have thought about before. I may work that into the next round of changes I make to the Forum.

i do believe the editing function was removed intentionally by Jim. It has been brought up a few times in the past but there is always no harm asking again.

No actually we have never had that feature. Most sites don't simply as a security precaution.

If you need a topic title changed the best course to follow is to PM or email your friendly neighbourhood Host or Editor and simply ask them to change it on your behalf...
