I have both the iawta hp-c and aztec 470 when doing camo free hand I get a fair amount of overspray. What can I do to minimize this? I use acrylics

Thinner paint and reduce the pressure - I think

Hold the nozzle closer to the area being sprayed. This reduces the amount of overspray.
But to do this, you need to thin your paint properly and have a suitable airpressure as Andy "thinks" :-) I draw the outline first and then work inwards.
Have some surface at close hand to get it right first. I have a cornflakes box side, where I test run first, no matter what Im spraying .... so as to not have any surprises when I start spraying. Make sure you blow air only and open the paint gradually to start .... if you open the paint first and then the air, youŽll have a splatter!
Hard edge .... no choice, masking is required! Otherwise a little overspray looks quite cool!

With painting fine edged camo, you can also spray a thicker painto to thinner ratio to about 40 psi, and get a good hard edge pattern. Then again, you get a finer paint build up on finer details.
