I just thought that I would bring to the attention of all of those that would like an Iwata airbrush, but cringe at the cost here in the UK.
I bought an Iwata HP-CH for £79 + £5 Airmail carriage, which arrived in a little over 5 days. Ophellia does sell via EBay but is established and has a 100% satisfaction rating, communicates promptly and does exactly as advertised.
If you want to upgrade look here.

What models would be recommended for modelling? I have a single action airbrush and want to buy a good double action airbrush.

With the price that these are offered at I managed to buy one of the higher range ones the HP-CH, I particularly [only used it a few times] like the ability to control and adjust the needle travel at the rear and the airflow at the fromt using the Micro Air Control unit on the front. I have found already that it is simple to control the airbrush and spray at low pressures with very thin paint 90% thinner 10% Paint and it is beautifully balanced and easy to handle.
The Iwata is recommended by many and I am happy I would look through the web, for reviews and take your pick at what features you want.
I am so pleased to return to a gravity feed brush, with the paint chamber sop close to the nozzle that cleaning is so simple, wheras my Paasch, which will still give good service needs completely stripping to clean it fully.
I am sold on the model that I have bought, but I guess that the choice of model must be yours. One thing that I did was to choose the larger paint cup as it is easier to put in less, but with the smaller one, you cant add more.
I hope this helps and if you look around Tamiya Magazine had a great review in one of last years editions [117], which is where I made my choice from.

Hi All

I too purchased my Iwata HP-CP on Ebay. I too am spectacularly happy with the purchase. The price was waaaaay cheaper than the recommended prices I have seen. I "upgraded" from a Paasche VL and couldn't be happier.

I ordered an Iwata HP-CH from Ophelia the day before this thread started and it arrived today. I am delighted with the service. Everything was just as described in the listing and very well packed. I too would recommend you look her up on ebay.

And tomorrow I have the day off work, so lost of opportunity to practice with the new brush :-)
