Maybe I should clean it... which I do after every session. Tonight it started to spit and upon inspection I found some build up! At the paint intake and... paint outtake or the nozzle.
I once removed a camo I didn't like with oven cleaner, would that work with me Badger?

What sort of paints have you been spraying? I found that revell paint brush cleaner - called PaintaClean here in England will remove all traces of tamiya acrylic from the outside of my paint brush, i'm sure it would work on the internals, just dip a q tip in it and wipe away!!
Ammonia will also remove acrylic paint i think - there is lots of talk of using windex original - the blue one - which is ammonia based to clean airbrushes elsewhere on the site - it certainly wont hurt to give this a try.

I've used both enamel and acrylics. The white buildup is probably enamel.

I just clean my airbrush out using Badger spray away. Also every few months i totally strip the airbrush down removing all the teflon o rings. I then put all the parts in thinners (not the o rings as the thinners tend to deterate them) to soak for about a week. After a week i dry it off using cotton buds and kitchen towel. This removes all paint types enamel, acrylic aswell as alclad paints without any trouble.

Make sure you inspect the nozzle and head assembly as well. Sometimes the needle may be bent, or the head cracked. Found this on more than one occassion with mine. All the cleaning in the world won't help a bent needle or cracked head. "Q"
