Looks pretty good. I like the way you did the engine.
Most of the pictures ive seen do have the rear right antenna in an olive drab type colour similar to the photo below.
One thing i find also is to apply a layer of gloss coat over your decals shortly after they dry. This is to prevent the decal from being "silverish".

Looks pretty nice. I've got three Humvee kits lined up to start building soon, and one of the is an old Academy Desert Storm M1025, similar to yours. I hope mine comes out looking as good as yours. It's been ten years since I last built a kit, so we'll see.

Thanks. This actually is the Academy M1025 kit you're mentioning.

Nice looking HMMWV (Humvee). My eyes caught a few minor things, I guesss spending nearly 10 years on various versions helped a lot.
1. On your front and rear stop/parking lights the small rectangle are blackout markers. The real ones are black with small slits for white light. Look at the image BG Jeremy posted of the right rear corner. You can see the right taillight.
2. The fuel tank, opposite the muffler you left a joint where the 2 pieces joined. The actual tanks is made of a form of plastic and has no seams. Secondly, when I retired from the Army in 96 they were still an off white in color. Though I'm not sure if the color has changed.
3. The undercarriage to include the floor would be black.

Thanks a lot for all the input. I will try to incorporate them in the model.

No problem, isn't that why we post our work here? Looking for comments from fellow modelers?

A passer-by tore them off
