Don't know if this has already been posted, but R.P. Hunnicutt's newest book is coming out next month - Armored Car: A History of American Wheeled Combat Vehicles. I pre-ordered mine through amazon.com a while ago and just remembered it's coming soon. List price is $95.00 - with amazon.com's price $66.50.

I've also heard, unconfirmed, rumors that this is his last reference.

LOL - seems like you should get a Tamiya kit and a tube of glue for that price. I'm only hoping that the book isn't a THIN as the Half-Track book turned out to be. The skeptical look from the wife (a.k.a. Mrs. Gunnie & True Master of the Universe) when it came through the door was withering - and she bought it for me...

Yes, but the half-track book was less than $60 and half-tracks were only used for about a decade. The wheeled book should cover the M3 White Scout Car to the LAVs (I hope).

The cover shot is of an LAV - so I'm hoping the same thing too

Hi Gang,
Has anyone heard if the Cadilac-gage "Commando" (V100 series ) is covered or am I wishful thinking again? /
