The kit you saw at Nats was the Hobby Fan kit. I have one and the casting/detail is superb. However, since it is so detailed, that means that it is not a kit for the faint of heart. If you feel confident in your ability to takcle resin, and have the $$$ to get this kit, then go for it.
Noone else makes a M9 ACE.

I've had the M-9 ACE from Hobby Fan for a while now and have done a lot of research on it. I asked on Missing Linx and got several good responces from folks that have built the kit, with a few tweeks and some that sent me pics of the real vehicle. Gordon Kwan over at Sprue Brothers Models stocks Hobby Fan and has the kit in stock. It is a bit pricey at $150.00, but it is the only game in town. I got lucky and picked mine up off ebay for $90.00. I have not seen it on ebay for some time now. The kit is well detailed and the casting is very good. I would be glad to send you some of the files I have so you can check out this great one of a kind vehicle. Don M.
