For the tank aces campaign I decided to pick Otto Carius as tank ace. I started with just a Jagdtiger, and by now I've also bought a Tiger I. They will be put together on a wooden base with some information about Carius.
The tanks are both 1/72. The Jagdtiger is the Italeri kit and the Tiger I is the Revell kit, which is actually a late Tiger but you can build it as mid-Tiger as well because the early rubber road wheels are included as well.
Both kits are pretty good. It's a bit smaller than the usual 1/35 and a lot smaller than my 1/16 armour but the detail is good and they're enjoyable kits to build.
The Jagdtiger is almost ready for paint. I need to finish some details first. I added some details and I replaced the tow cable.
The Tiger still needs a lot of work. I just started building.
