Hi all, I was wondering if someone could answer some more questions for me. In the 3-tone NATO camo scheme, are the sides of the Commander's hatch on the M1A1 painted to match the camo scheme like the top is, or is it overall green like the bottom of the hatch? Also, does the Tamiya OIF M1A2 or any of the Eduard detail kits come with an infantry tank phone and if not, how do I model one on a USMC M1A1HA? Hope to hear from you all soon.

The tank is painted by robotic sprayers while all the hatches are closed. There may be some overspray, but the patterns are not continued in the cracks and crevices of the hatch.

I got the Eduard PE set for the M1A1 and it has not the tank phone. I took mine from a Academy kit. However, it should be easy to scratch. Measurements in 1:35 scale is approx. 7,5mm x 5,5mm x 3,5mm (measured on my M1A1 HC so it is probably 0,1mm off). It is a square box with a lid, so some styrene should fix it.
Don't know if you got these walkarounds, but they have been usefull for me.

And two from the Army for the 3-tone camo and interior

Yeah the edges are green, and replacement parts IE a new fender are green also.
