Hi all,
This is my first diorama. Although the usual topic is around armours and planes, my first diorama is done with a Citroen 2CV as the main character. There is not much story in this diorama, it's just to show the car which is abandoned after many, many years serving its owner...

Very nice job here, you really created the feeeling of an abondoned junker. I'd go with a whitish gray on the tires though, rather than the red mud look. Over the years, rain would have washed all that off and the degrading rubber would fade down quite a bit. Maybe a shallow like just above ground level would show the effects of rain splashing mud up a bit.

Gday Imran
You have really caught the feel of a car that has served it's master well!
The position of the car parts have a good feel to them also...
The big problem that stood out to me though, was the fact that the car is in a state of disrepair, and has probably been here forever, but the grass... I think Tiger just won the open with a putt on it!!
What I'm saying is that it is far too manicured... It should be long and unkempt in keeping with the scene of the battered car...
Cheers
Brad

I like a lot your idea of a dio with the 2CV.The weathering is great, just wonder why the hood of the motor is open, because it will be rotten down or blow away with the wind.
Nevertheless a great dio,congratulations
Pedro

Thanks for all the comments, I really appreciate it.
Al LaFleche: Thanks for the suggestions. I will be enhancing this diorama bit by bit. Thanks for the tips on the url too...
Brad: The grass is a rushed build. It will be added with a few spots of longer grass and more colours to replicate different stage of grass growth.
Rv1963: Thanks and I'll drop by in your gallery.
Pedro: Thanks for the pointer. The usual plan is to put a stick or rusted pipes to hold the hood open but I'm rushing this for the local competition and totally forget about it... :-)
