Good review Vinnie, and also high quality photos as well.

Will you be building this kit? Ive been watching Sam Dwyer´s build on Planet Armor, and Ive already broke down, and decided to buy. It would be interesting though to see the cyber hobby set built and included.
It was the radio and racks that sold this kit for me ... the plastic versions look excellent. Depending on the build up of the etched rack system, it might be worth the extra and getting this set as well.

Frank, I will be building it soon yes, and in my opinion, the upgrade is worth getting for the radio rack alone.......... you'll have to see it built up to realise how good it looks!

Another great product review, Vinnie. Those pre-formed hull walls are really nice. Extra decal options are interesting as well.

What I dont understand is why Cyber-Hobby did not include the Pak 40 gun shield ? They already have one with their Sd Kfz 234/4 update ! I dont see what all those flexible coiled springs are for ?

Anyhow, its good to see these types of aftermarket items from Cyber-Hobby. I wonder which sets they will do next

Cheers !!

Great Vinnie. Hopefully you include plenty of in-progress shots! Ive held back in buying a lot of the tigers and Pzr IVs, basically because I dont have the time to build them along with all the other projects Ive going or planned. I really love the look of this Marder II though. The interior OOB looks amazing as is. Can´t wait.

Robert, the shield is a different one to the 234/4. The pipes are for inside the fighting compartment, I think they're more of a conduit than pipe.

Thanks Vinnie for posting the review. Ive got two of the Marders on the way now. But since youve posted this I think I might get these sets two. One question, the CH website says this is an "Upgrade & Conversion" But it doesnt say what the conversion is. any idea? and any idea when they will be in? they say pre-order.

I think it's just a generic title for Cyber Hobby's sets. It doesn't create a new version or anything

Thanks Vinnie for posting this review,... even without the gun shield, it still looks like a must purchase item...... on a slightly tangent...... I'm sure the authorities appreciate having your fingerprints on file. :-)

I was looking at this kit about two days ago; I cant wait to see what the radio set rack and ammo racks...From the photos...Impressive!

As well...The kit is moderately priced!

(Have any of you had the opportunity of seeing it in person yet?)

Cheers! From the New Guy!
