Hi David: The DML kit is pretty awesome. You did a great job with it overall!
If I can offer a few nitpicks (some that you can repair, some just for next time)
1) the seam in the barrel (about 1" forward of the mantlet) should be very indistinct
2) only the top left rear oval light lens was red. All the others were black
3) the stains near the central armored filler cap: this one was for the radiator fill cap
4) the seam where the shell ejection port meets the turret wall had no gap in actuality -- maybe use filler here in the future
5) a personal item: your base color in the photos seems very faded. I like my base coat OD to start darker and I add weathering to lighten it up.
Again, great work. You should be proud of your T26E3! It's a beast! Where are those German kitties?

Nice weathering Dave. Love how you did the fuel stains. How did you like the kit?

Roy, your critique was inspiring. This M26 of David's is an amazing model and somehow left room for improvement?! As I am interested in improving also, I am posting two of my best builds to date below and I would greatly appreciate any critique you could give me on them. One of my problems is I purposely avoid spray painting in favor of hand painting, my favorite part! Thank you in advance, Gary K...

Egyptian IS 3 Stalin
I removed some of the shots of these models but I was very serious if Roy could evaluate these and anything else he finds in my photos. I believe he has a keen eye and plenty of expertise so I am hoping he will take a look at these models for me.
Thank you in advance. Gary :-)

hi david, great job on the pershing...nice weathering and nice touch on the spare tracks..i like the spill on the gas cover. did you spray paint the star on the engine cover? this will definitely be a nice entry for dragon MOM..okay..looking forward for your next project.
hi gary...nice collection...i usually hand painted my tank when i''m weathering them. for awhile there i thought they were spray painted.nice touch on the stalin tracks. thanks for sharing.
