Hi Jim, Greetings all,
I was wondering how I can find my previous posts from when the site was in its old format.
I'm trying to locate some stuff that came up when I made enquiries about using the 20mm cannon on the LCM 3 but can't seem to track down the original post.
They will be there somewhere I'm just not sure how to locate them.
Sorry to bother you, I think this in the right forum.
Cheers
Al

If you click on the 'myaccount' link up top and then select Forum Post, that at least narrows down the search. If you start the thread then click on the threads started link.
You should be able to find the old threads regardless whether it was in the old or new format but thats only my understanding.

Hi Jeremy,
I have no problem using the Topics started buttons, it's just that not all the posts are shown, only those for 2006. I just need to find out how to link further back.
Cheers

On the "My Forum Posts" results page click "Search Again" at the top. Limit the search to a specific forum and use keywords.

Cheers Jim,
I tried the search but was probably going on to broad a field. I'll have another go.
Thanks
Al

Hi Jim,
Found lots of stuff, but not what I was looking for. Not to worry I PM Skipper who provided the original information. It is hard to remember exactly which forum things were originally posted in and also knowing which new form they may have found a new home in.
Searched on several different forums with varing degrees of succes. I realise with the amount of information constantly being added to site storage of data must be a problem, would their be an easier way to just search by user name for all posts?
Perhaps one can do this but I just haven't figured it out.
Cheers
