Pete Becerra''s Tamiya M-1025 Humvee with Blast wheels, turret ring and weapons, and armoured doors and accessories. Nemrod figures. The base is from Custom Dioramic, weathered with Mig Powders.

Very nice looking Humvee Pete. I hope your Brad will turn that nicely too !!

I have the same figures to add to my M1046 but the one sitting in the turret ring doesn't fit perfectly due to the TOW missile. I have to find something to tackle that.

Hilbert, the sign reads "One weekend a month my @$$!" (When they enlist, that is the National Guardsman's obligation- at least on the recruiting brochure!)

EDIT- That is a fine model, and although I don't know about the accuracy, it's another of the very good ones that are inspiring me to try a Humvee, too. Good work!

2nd edit- Oh, it's Epi- no doubt whatsoever about the accuracy!

Thanks for the comments guys, but Mike, I do have to admit that I screwed up on the accuracy just a little bit, plus with the Hummers you see over in Iraq now, ther is really no one accurate way of prtraying a correct Hummer. The main thing is that you have the right peices there and you can go crazy with the load out. Thats why I didn't include no bumper numbers on it, but the one thing i did mess up on was the sign and the shoulder patches on the figures. I used the 1st ID patch on the figures(wich is an active duty unit) and the sign tells that it's a National Guard Hummer.

Well Pete, what about cross-attached units. I've heard of various NG units (New York NG comes to mind) that were attached to Active units and were given combat patches for the active unit and not their NG unit. Maybe this could be something similar. Right arm is for the combat patch right? I keep getting the left arm and right arm patch mixed up.

You are right Jeff. For the first three months we were opconned(operationally controlled) by the 1st ID, then the 42nd ID(New York Guard) took over for the Big Red One. My unit is authorized to wear both units combat patches.
