Well, after buying a PT Cruiser snap kit for my daughter and helping her build it, I thought, "why not try this vehicle as staff car, done kind of retro."
I'm just about finished with the project, the kit is very nicely detailed and engineered, especially for a snaptite kit. I've painted it OD green and given it a gloss coat. I found a picture of a GSA (US Government) license plate and reduced it in size and printed it out on a color laser printer. I also did this to a small 3-star general license plate that I made using PowerPoint. (only a lieutenant general or above would rate a PT Cruiser!)
I'm going to put white stars on the door and hood along with some generic US Army white writing along the side of the hood (much like a Jeep hood's done). It's looking pretty good and I will post pictures by the end of the week. I'm trying to get a real glossy finish, something I don't usually try for.

This was a break from all the work that's been going into my old Tamiya SAS Jeep. It will look at home on a shelf full of military vehicles.
Too bad they don't make a 1/35 scale PT Cruiser.
