I was wondering how this kit fares overall. I haven't been able to find any reviews on the web so far. Are there any detail sets for it?

I assume you refer to the german Panzerhaubitze 2000 of the Bundeswehr.

Here you can check out a german review with lots of pics. The overall rating seems to be very positive.

Eduard does a photo etched set for it, but I would not recommend it. It tries to have you cut off molded on detail and replace it with flat, lifeless PE parts.
