Started my B1 Saturday morning, boy does this kit go together well !!!. Took me no time at all to build the main hull and road wheels. I am doing mine in Free French colour scheme, as shown in this months Military Modelling mag. Not very good at the "sign writing " side of things but it came out ok I guess. Im using Humbrol and Tamiya paints.

Hi Kevin,
Looks really good so far. I haven't see the article you speak of. Will this be a re-captured tank during the liberation? If so then the FFI is fine. If you're portraying the earlier campaign (1940) the to the best of my knowledge the FFI markings only started to be used after the fall of France in 1940 at first as a sign of resistance and then picked up more officially.

The 'BB' lettering on the rear end of the real tank was painted in the same outline style as the 'FFI' further forward. See the picture in the link below to see what I mean. Nice work for hand lettering
