yes i do plan on using some drybrushing once i figure it out and get both that and the washes correct. I hear that you are not supposed to wash or drybrush the whole thing, so we will see how it turns out.

Usually I start with darker colors first, and slowly work my way up through the lighter colors. Dry-brushing is a lighter color of the base coat and certainly lighter than the wash...most of the time.
As far as "the whole thing", I wash the entire vehicle, and dry-brush most parts of it. Dry-brushing is for bringing out the "raised" bits of detail, while washing is for "shadowing" the lower points of detail.
