Hi all,

1) I have been seaching high and low (around 15) mins on the internet but I cannot find any replacement barrel and Muzzle brake for Dragon M51 ISherman... I only found the one for Dragon M50...

Can anyone help or point me to one ?.

2) Anyone has any experience with AFV T80 workable track on Dragon M51? Is it a pain or do they fit seamlessly ?

Thanks in advance.

There is one in the Accurate Armour update set for the M51:

Don't think there is a seperate muzzle brake out there.
The AFV Club links should work for the Dragon kit, that's what I plan on using on mine someday. You might have to double check the spacing on the drive sprocket and adjust as necessary to fit the track.

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the link...I checked it .... but will give it a pass as it is over my budget...

BTW, do you know if the AFV T-80 track indivudual track will fit the M51 from Academy as well ?

cheers...

Hey, their isnt any replacement barrels that I know of...I had somebody turn one for me.

As for the track, they will fit, but you will have to widen the sprocket a bit (a mm or 2). They take some time to build (give yourself a few evenings), but look OUTSTANDING when done.

Hi Andy,

Thanks for the tips info on the track. I will go order one online...hobbyeasy has them :-)

Have you put any paint on the model yet ?

Nice built you have there...did you use the muzzle brake that comes with the kit or scratch built one ?
