I am a new in IDF modelling, and I am feeding myself now with a lot of information of IDF stuff before I start to model.
I have some question about the IDF military stuff being used right now in Lebanon.

1) for the armor colors, I have checked http://idfmodelling.free.fr/articles.html, what is the tank color they use right now in 2006 ?
2) For the color of the unfiroms, are infantry uniform colors different than tank unifomrs? I can see two different type of boots brown and black, is there a meaning?
3) What about the helmets there are many types of helmets from the famous widely used IDF helmet to the American kevlar helmet, why is that?

4) Are in this conflict apart from the Merkava4 other Merkavas used like MK1 and MK2?
I already saw the Merkawa 3 on the news.
