I don't know what it is, but I can't see to leave those 1:72 kits alone lately...
Nearly done with the E100 from Dragon, still deciding if I should add to the camo or not. I'm thinking of an octopus style addition of rings, but not sure. What is it with this 'what if' stuff, this is the second kit I'm getting far to involved in... :-) :-)
Cheers
Henk

Hi Henk,
Nice one mate, I would leave it alone as that looks perfect to me and once you get the weathering on I suspect that it will be a great little addition to your display shelves.
Regards,
John

Thanks John,
The problem is that I can't help letting my imagination go wild. I mean that's the beauty of 'What if..' scenarios. I feel a strange compulsion to get out some Allied stars...
"August 1945.
After the succesfull assasination of Hitler, a Coup by the Whermacht has succesfully ousted the Nazi party and it's henchmen. The Allies, having realised Stalins real motives, have joined forces with the newly formed German Bundeswehr to face the Communist onslaught together.
As the early fog slowly lifts over the heather fields of Hohe, a motley crew of Pershings and E100's face the Russian massed IS II's slowly approaching from the East... "
Well, it's only slightly different from the History as we know it...

Nice E100 Henk. I really like the camo. Something about that tank, it just looks mean.
Good job

Henk,
That is a very interesting camo work. I say dont add to that camo!! I also have a maus I'm having headache whether to paint it primer or camo... You inspire me. I think I might going with a two tone just like this!

Really nice build. I'd say go with the "what if", it gives you a lot more creative freedom (that's why build mostly science fiction).

good job Henk it looks really good, i have built this kit myself and really enjoyed it. What did you think of the two figures included? I personally wish they were in the same material as the rest of the kit as i carnt get the paint to stay on. I also had trouble with the etch for the muzzle brake not meeting completely.
