Hi there,
ref to my earlier post:
https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/81353&page=1
I have done some touch up on the mud splattering on the lower hull of the tank. This time round, instead of coffee powder and salt, I used grinded acrylic (powder form) and the effect is fantastic!
Pls comment, and thanks for looking!
Cheers!

Hi Dan,
Your mud looks great and they look real.... remind me of those mud stuck to the tonner during my last ICT when it rains....
Another one due in Sept....hopefully it does not rain then.... :-)

I agree ... the mud has great texture and looks pretty realistic, but needs some variation in colour. A few subtle washes followed by a touch onthe peaks with pastels usually does the trick. Also little bits of static grass stuck here and there shows that fresh earth was knocked up.
Nice clean build.

Looks kind of empty.

Thanks guys,
And Frank,
I did tried a little bit of variation by adding flat brown to each different layer. But guess it did not really create the color variation. Will try as u suggested. Cheers!

Hey Dan
You can tell the difference between your previous post and now. What a great progress. I think you can see for your self that you made a great model.
Looks nice
Cheers Roel
