I've just found the hobby of building dioramas. When I needed a break from writing novels I would work on a scene here and there. Before I knew it I had four completed. I'm a submarine vet and a submarine writer, but man do I love these armor dioramas.

I was playing with the digital camera and came out with some suprising pictures of the models.

Can someone give me a lesson on posting pictures here?

Don

Hi

well come to Armorama from a fellow dioramarist

for showing pictures the pictures need to be available online, i use photo bucket ( http://www.photobucket.com which is a free picture hosting site.

so first up resize your pictures to a decent size (800x600) so that you can view on screen with out having to scroll around the picture.

up load the picture to photo bucket using it upload facility. Once uploaded it will show you photo album with all you picture in it. under each one there will be 3 different links.

Now open another browser window and go to Armorma(you saved in your favorites right, course you have), go to the forums and create another post.

now fill in your post title and any other information you wish to share

then go back to photo bucket and highlight the link on your picture beginning with [img], copy and then past it into your armorma post

continue to copy and paste all the different links into your post.

check it all works with the preview button and then rearrange if your not happy, then once completey happy submit the post, this will then show all your pictures for every one to view and comment upon.

look forward to seeing your work

HTH

I also welcome you to armorama
I'd say do what keith said with photo bucket
I think to simplyfy it I just right mouse click, click "Copy Image location"
Then paste it in between the
Then just submit your post and you should have your image there
thats my thought
