Well, the rear grilles are wrong... the border of Eduard's grille takes a detour around the hook...the real grille had a simple rectangular border.

The support arm for Eduard's loader hatch has a straight section..the real one was a gentle curve.

Eduard provide vertical periscopes for the commander... the real ones were slanted. A head pad for the cupola would have been a nice touch, it would be more vislble from outside than these periscopes.

Just sayin'.

I think the main thing for most modellers building this kit will be to add the missing periscopes to the cupola, without being to worried about the slant of the periscopes... I must admit that I did not know about the slant of the periscopes, thanks for enlightening me.




Again, thanks for the correction. I knew there had to be a support arm, which the plastic manufacturers seem to forget, but I did not know the exact shape...

One day, we will have a perfect model of every German tank...

Speaking of plastic, you'll find a correct arm in Dragon kits 6253 and 6286. Don't know about anyone else.
