Hi guys,
Here's a couple of pics of my groundwork that is about 99% complete. The large tree in the back left corner still has to have some colour added to it and the base(and dio edging) needs a bit of tidying up before i give it a few oak stains and varnishing.Sorry for the quality of the pics, theses pics were taken under bad lighting..
Cheers,Shay

Gidday kiwibelg! You're right, the lighting is diabolical. The diorama base itself looks classy.
The whole scene looks almost....peaceful. Bucolic. All that's needed is a sheep or cow quietly nibbling at the flowers. :-) :-) :-)
Looking forward to seeing the project completed.
Cheers! Jeff W.

Gday Shay
This is going great guns!
There is good symmetry here, and the flowers seem to be spaced just right... One thing needed IMO is a teensy clump of grass where the path veers right at the front right of the first pic... You have 3 yeller flowers there at the minute... I think they should be on a little green island
Everything looks very natural especially the earth colour, and peaceful as Jeff mentioned...
Good job!
Cheers

Hey Kiwi
I must say nice work so far. To bad of the bad quality of pics. I hope you can take new ones with better light.
But I must ask you how do you make those flowers??
And which soldiers or vehicles will be put on the dio?? How large is it??
Thanks Roel
