I cannot stand the barrel included in Tamiya kit 35221, Cromwell Mk. IV (1:35 scale). Does anyone know of a company that makes metal barrels for this kit?
I've looked at many companies, but can't find anything other than Aber, and I'm not too sure that I like it. It just looks a bit off...

Try Armorscale, probably one of the best around, http://www.armorscale.com/products/barrels35/B35-015/ . Jordi Rubio also have one in their range, listed as #TG33.

Armorscale barrels are absolutely fabulous, I am still amazed at the quality of the ones that I bought for the 20mm flak and the MG38, it is hard to describe the quality of design and manufacturing.
Go Armorscale you wont be disappointed.

Thanks, all.
Now I have to work on my soldering, which I haven't wored on in a long time!
