Revell of Germany and Italeri both do 1/72 scale vinyl soldiers from many nations and eras. Preiser of Germany does really nice ones but are more expensive.

There are MANY manufacturers of 1/72 figures. If you want modern figures, Revell makes a good US soldier set, German soldier set, and even a British soldier set. Like the previous poster said, Preiser makes good but expensive figures. Caesar has just released an outstanding set of modern US figures in realistic poses as if they were in Iraq. They also make a good set of Terrorists/Urban fighters to oppost them. Visit the site Plastic Soldier Review on the web for more info. Also, I reccomend going to Michigan Toy Soldiers or Toy Soldier HQ on the web for more info.

If you just need a few US troops in Kevlar with rifles, I can part with some. I should have a few in the parts box.

Revell also makes a good Humvee kit. There are also two Humvees in the Revell set. One advantage may be, the Revell Humvees predate the 2003 Iraq war with all the uparmoring, so may be more in your time period.
