Hi there,
I have the Lindberg Russian BMP-1U, kit # 76003, and it does not have a painting code section in the instructions. So I was wondering if someone could please help me with the correct colors to use. I mainly need the basic colors such as the overall color, the color of the rockets, the color of the lights, etc. Also, did the BMP boogies (rollers) have rubber on them or were they all steel?
Maybe someone could post the painting section from the instructions of another kit of the same type.
Thanks for the help. HARV

Hi Harv
Plain soviet dark green overall again (something like NATO Green); the colour of the missile depends on where you're going to base the model IIRC its yellow for training, silver for parades and green (again) for live missiles.
Roadwheels tyres and top roller tyres are rubber, the idler at the rear is all-steel.
This former East German NVA vehicle should help with the lights

Thank you David,
I really appreciate the help and the link. That is just what I was looking for. I normally do WWI and WWII armor so I wasn't sure about something that modern.
Thanks again and please don't hesitate to ask if there is something that I can help you with.
