Get your hands on the Italeri 1A4 kit and the Maple Leaf Models/ Track jam conversions. Maple Leaf Models is shut down right now but you can get what you need from Trackjam Models.

TrackJam Models

Have a good one.

There's the Tamiya Leopard 1A4 kit. Pretty decent kit but not the best. I'd go for the old Italeri Leopard 1A4 kit. Still one of their best kits. Even considering it's age it is still a very good kit. Forget the rest, go for the Italeri Kit.
For the C1 you'd still need to change the turret. But there's a conversion from Maple Leaf Models (MLM1006) that will help a lot.

I built the C1 and C2 last year. Here are a few pics of them.

Hands down, the Italeri Leopard 1A4.

I also highy recommend the Eduard Leopard 1A4 PE set for the Tamiya Leopard 1A4, and Eureka XXL tow cables, HKCW tracks, Model Point barrel, Accurate Armour road wheels....and of course the Maple Leaf Models and Trackjam conversions. But that is all up to you to decide how much you want to spend on detail parts.

Go to eBay, you can find the Italeri Leopard 1A4 very cheap there.

Don't expect an out of the bottle paint colour match for the solid green colour....you will have to mix one up if you are planning the single colour green. The Tamiya NATO colours are very good for the three colour NATO pattern but the brown and green need to be darkened just a touch.

My advise to to do your homework and research which version of the Leopard C1 you want to build if you are concerned with accuracy. There were lots of little subtle changes to the tanks over the years. The same goes for paint schemes and markings.

Any questions just ask. I have built a few Canadian Leopards, have a few more planned, and I used to command the real ones.

The new ZOOM set for the Tamiya 1A4 is is great way to add an accurate rear grill to any of the Leopard kits. Much cheaper than the full set with all the tool fittings.
