hello this is the italeri's m60 a1 patton tank for the us military. i have sjtustarted teh deck but here are some pics of the completed hull and chasis. enjoy!

hmmm i jsut realized one of the tow hooks are crooked please let me know what you think so far. any improfections noticed will be welcomed as i would liek this model to be perfect!!!

The tail lights are on upside down they should be horizontal with the ground not angled down. I was on M60s for many years so I'll be glad to help with what ever I can.

wow thanks i guess the directions were rong they were poitning dwon in italeries directions. unless im dislexic lol. and great ill put your name on speed dial! haha. kk i got a question waht sort of things would be on teh tank when in usee by the us army? if i was to simulate it in in its jungle trials in nam' would they have used the rolls of fencing to stop the b40 rockets? jsut any more info would be helpful this is a blind project and have very limited knowledge on thsi great machine.

To the best of my knowledge, the M60A1 never made it Viet Nam. The only varients that served in combat was the M60 AVLB & the M728 CEV. If you were going to do a hypothetical trial vehicle, you would need to change the tracks to T-97 chevron tracks as the T -142 octagon tracks did not appear on M60 tanks until the the mid to late 70's.
