As I'm sure it's biting at us that were resurrecting a very old thread but, same here Anthony. Actually I only paid $30 and free shipping from Hong Kong (if only I could find more DML deals like that! But I did get a StuG IV for $25 so adding that one to the list). Frankly, IMHO, I think that a lot of DML's kits should be priced closer to the $25-$50 mark than where they are currently but that's how I value it.

"all new tooling with bonus parts" . Any details on this ?
Dragon's never been shy with advertising but this is the first I've heard of this.

I understood that statement to be a leftover, applicable from when the kit was first released, so at the time it was all new tooling with bonus part - but not related to the reissue kit being any different from the original kit (since they're the same kit number).

Pretty sure this is from the original release back in '07 or so.
If they were coming out with a revamped re-release they would be trumpeting it far and wide.

I don't recall a spare road wheel, but that shouldn't get hearts aflutter.

If they really wanted to add a good "bonus" to the reissue, I would've liked to have seen the standard BRE from their M1A2 kit provided in this kit as an alternate to the screen one provided.

"New" Dragon M1A1 kit 3535 arrived today 10-27-2014. The only difference that I can see is that there is no metal barrel option and the Magic Tracks are gone. Rubber bands only. All the plastic spruce, PE, and decals look the same. Kinda disappointed for the extra $$$.

As I said in the other post on this...
Sounds good to me. The plastic barrel is more accurate and looks better anyways and the magic tracks suck. What do the center guide teeth on the tracks look like, solid for T-158 tracks, or hollow for T-158LL tracks?
Yes, the original issue had a spare road wheel in it as well. It looks like just the track swap and the deletion of the metal barrel are the only changes.

Looks like only hollow teeth for the T-158LL tracks. Photo in the other thread... (sorry for the cross reference confusion. I will let this posting lapse now and continue on the other).
