The Italeri Merkava is a rebox of the Esci kit first made in the 1980s. Not a bad kit by any means though. The Revell Merkava is a good kit as well. Here is a site that has reviews of 1/72 scale armor: http://www.ontheway.org.uk/default.htm.

Yes, it does. You just have to look in the right spot: http://www.ontheway.org.uk/reviews/ESCI/merkavareview.htm

I am currently finishing the 1/72 Revell Merkava MK III. This was my first tank kit. I found it to be an interesting build. The detail was nice for a brail scale model. The tracks were a bit tricky though.
