WOW! I really like those field mods! US Troops are always looking to increase firepower, comfort and convenience. The .30cal with shield is cool but I especially like the vise on the rear deck.

Good to see another half-track, especially the Tamiya M16; brings back memories of one I built years ago... The drilled out 50 cals look good, and your folded tarps etc are very life-like. What did you use to make them? Maybe you should nickname your M16 'Vice squad'? (sorry 'bout that, couldn't resist.. :-) :-) )

Looks pretty good. One issue I see though. When is your vehicle supposed to represent? If it is a WWII or Korean War vehicle, the gunshield on the .30 cal is not accurate. The shield is a Vietnam era ACAV .30 cal shield. It was developed for use on the M113 ACAV system in the mid-late '60s.

hi everyone..you were right about the .30 cal shield. i'm planning to cut it shorter to make it look WWII..but i leaved it as is anyway. i must say it looks good with full face covered for extra protection. but then it misjudged the war era. the vise is the final touch always comes in handy. thanks again for the tips and nice comments.
