Well everyone My waiting is over. After being told by amazon that there would be another 4 to 6 week delay on the book after already waiting 6 weeks, I canceled the order and ordered it from one of the book used/new bookstores that listed it. And it arrived yesterday from the U.K. within 2 weeks..

Needless to say I can't wait to try some of the things in the book.. I've read with interest the veiws of people who like the book and people who dislike the book, and I must say that for someone like me who wants to improve their modeling and learn new techniques, then this book is going to get a lot of use.

I can't wait to reach the next model building level armed with new things I plan to learn..

By the way I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn from high quaility photos and not just text and a few small photos as many of the modeling books I have show.. where as the book can be light on text explainations, the photo step by step's are the best I've ever seen...

I am still wating from Amazon-usa but I checked out used prices, unless it's a misprint one guy is asking $1876.00 while three others are asking $101.00 that is alittle steep.I really want the book but not at that cost. I guess I will wait it out a bit longer.

Congrats on getting your copy at a great price. I got mine from Sprue Bros. It was a bit more, but I did have it in two days.

I like it overall. There's a few things that could use a bit more explanation, but I'm satisfied. I'm just afraid to keep it near my modeling table because I know I'll spill something on it.

Congrats on getting your copy Delbert

I got mine a few weeks ago when it was still widely available but I thought after reading all the reviews that it was not worth the money they were selling it for. Happily enough there was a guy who had a copy and wanted to get rid of it because the weathering techniques were not his style of modelling so he parted with it for 40 Euro which was around 20 Euro less then it was available here in the shops in Europe. The copy was as good as new.

With friendly greetz

Congratulations Delbert! Like many others, mine is still on order with Amazon. Est. shipping date ranges from Aug 20 to Sept 3 so there is still hope that I don't get the dreaded notice of further delay.

Ordered mine from Amazon on August 8th and they estimated a delivery of mid to late September.

I'm hoping that they will re-stock sooner rather than later...

I wonder how many like us have the book on backorder through Amazon...?

Aloha,

Johnny B.
