I'm about to start painting my Strv 103 and I was wondering, I see that the instructions show a 4 color splinter camo scheme, but was the 3 color splinter scheme ever used (like on the Strv 122)?
Also, I tend to favor Tamiya paints and was wondering what colors I should use to get the most accurate portrayal of this beast.
Thanks for the help,
Jeff

Try these links. A couple of photos seem to be 3 tone.

This is a favourite kit at the moment in sweden as the 103 is used by the swedish army. Check out the Stockholm IPMS site and ask there. Those guys are the experts in that tank. The site is hosted in both english and swedsih so no problems there. you might even find some other interesting stuff!
