Greetings all,

Here's a picture of the 0 scale 7mm goods wagon I was thinking of using in my dio. I've added some figures for scale.

Looks OK to me but I don't know much about the size of Goods Wagons.

Any thoughts?

Cheers

Al

lol Looks a tad small to me, but as you stated, I'm also no expert on goods wagons.

My experience of train is not that great, but I have went some times with a local narrow gauge railway. From what I can see that wagon looks in scale and fitting for a narrow gauge railway! Remember that they should look small, the engines on that railway (I think it's 600mm) looks almost like toys.

How have you made the wagon?

Hi Andreas,

Thanks for the feedback. I'm inclined to think I could get away with that the more I look at it.

Re the wagon I got it from a place Called Parkside Dundas up in Scotland. It comes in plastic kit for and you build it up. It's quite a detailed little kit and designed to run or rails, althoug mine will be static.

Here's the web address if your interested:

http://www.scalefour.org.uk/parkside/index.htm#NOTE

The chap who runs it is called Richard. Postage was £1.00 and he sent me a free introductory token for a qiud that covered that :-) :-) He has an email address which you'll see if you visit the web site.

It has buffers, transfers etc. The instructions are quite detailed and need a good read first, although I'm not sure about one part but I'll work that out..

Cheers

Al
