Heres something im currently working on, the Hobby boss T-43/85 depicted as a knocked out tank. The model is fantastic and packed with detail, this is my first ever 1/48 model and its very enjoyable. The model is based on an old MilMod article by Steve Zaloga of a knocked out T-34/85 in Korea, I used that artciel as a basis for the destruction aswell as a couple of other model mag artcles on T-34's. Ive basically removed one fron mud guard, thinned and bent the fenders, removed the turret roof(this is very easy) and replaced the ammo bins with twisted damaged metal. This represents a tank that has suffered an ammo explosion and will be set in Berlin, the ammo has blown the roof off. The engine and transmisson covers will be opened. Ive added Mr Surfacer 500 to give some cast texture and added other small details such as wires hanging out of the blown out light. All comments greatly welcome, thanks for looking!
