A place for want ads or to sell/trade kits?

I thought of that last week also. I will look for something easy to use. The alernative is a module that works like eBay, an auction system.

Which do you think would be better?

Just a place to post wants and stuff to sell or trade. I don't think you want to get into the kit brokering business. Sort of like the "Looking For" forum. Call it the "Trading Post" or something to that effect.

As Rob said, keeping it in the forum is a good idea. After being in other forums, the posting of kits for sale becomes common place. Without a specific location, they will soon show up in all topics.

We can certainly do the Forum solution right away. I think I will continue to try to find something a little more user-friendly for classifieds. But gotta start somewhere I guess.

I think a Forum for selling kits and wanted/will trade for is a good idea, I can't tell you how many times I got hammerd for posting for sale ad's in forums where the moderators DIDN'T make it clear
that ad's were not allowed. My suggestion for the
forum rules is that you make it to where the seller/trader/looker doesn't have to post EVERY thing that they're looking/selling/trading. I've been burned that way,too.
