There goes Keith - coming through again. Nice job. Nice reminder that a dio does not have to be huge and costly.

Just excellent! Sometimes we (I, anyway) get so caught up in large projects we forget what some imagination and a little time can do. I really like it Keith. Thanks for the article.

Sorry the pics came out so "yellow"... bad photography under a florescent light in my office, not the one in my studio! The key thing is - here is a cheap way to "invest" in a fun project that is not hard, yet will keep the interest of a young beginner. Glad you enjoyed the article.

Simple, Elegant and Cheap !
Very nice entry Keith !!
I do those little vignettes / dios to improve my skills and to test out new features like we use in the Campaigns. I'll post the one I did for the Winter Campaign soon. I think people love these little jewels.

Very interesting and simple project... I just finished filling a similar base mold (the caps with granola and yogurt) to give it a whirl. Maybe one of my Tamiya WWII German Infantry would be right at home on it :-)

Thanks Keith. This is excellent stuff, just what we beginners need, ideas and inspiration. I have a couple of spare figures and am going to try something very similar myself. I've already picked up the wooden sticks form the coffee shop !!!
